I worked back in Nigeria at the Oil/Energy Services and perviously worked at Foster Wheeler and Mitsubishi Electric
In a nut shell, I work as the link between power stations and you (Customer).
I work as part of a team to design everything that relates to substations/switchyards and transmission lines in the aid to transmit power to the customer.
Also, ensuring to always keep your lights ON by replacing aging assets and avoid black-out on the network.
My Typical Day: Running to the train station, having a cup/cups of tea and attending meetings.
A lot of decisions are made during brainstorming sessions with my team mates to derive design solutions and finally produce reports.
