I always enjoyed understanding how things work – taking apart toys, building circuits and designing things.

I really enjoyed maths and physics at school – I also enjoyed music and art. Art comes into designing new things and I now keep music as a hobby, but Maths and Physics are very important to the work I do.

So all these things coming together, studying engineering and taking up an engineering career just fell into place!

I have always been fascinated by how things work and how to make things better. When I found out that inventing and fixing things is basically what engineering was, I was in!
