      Enough to pay my rent in the least affordable place in the country (Oxfordshire), run a car and go on a few nice holidays every year! Plus some extra in the bank each month.

      Depends on your experience, but it’s very competitive with some of the highest paid jobs for young professionals, like bankers and lawyers. I earn enough to own a Porsche (not a new one but still..)

      Yes, I can’t complain either!

      Power generation is not the best paid type of engineering and engineering is not the best paid career you can have – but it’s a very interesting one and you have to find a balance between what you enjoy and how much money you want to make.

      Depends on how much time you want to spend on your personal life and your professional life. While having a good balance between two, I earn enough not to use the credit card towards the end of the month to cover my expenses.
